Patient Information
Admitting Hours
5:30am to 7:30pm, Monday through Friday
Outside of these hours, please register in the Emergency Department.
We'd like to do all that we can to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible and that all your questions are answered. To help you prepare, we've provided a list below of items you should and should NOT bring to the hospital. We've also included information on admitting hours and advance directives.
Consent-for-Treatment
You will be asked to sign a consent-for-treatment form giving us permission to treat you.
Advance Directives
Advance Directives are written instructions you make regarding your treatment should you be unable to speak for yourself. The Durable Power of Attorney for Health care allows you to designate someone to speak for you if you become unable to make decisions about your care.
On Admission, adult patients are asked if they have a current Advance Directive. If so, the directive is placed in the patient's medical record. If not, an informational pamphlet and form are available. Request for the pamphlet and form may be made through the Admitting Department at 310-202-4744. You are not required to have an Advance Directive in order to receive care.
